AIR FRYER MAPLE GOCHUJANG BRUSSELS SPROUTS

When I say these are the best Brussels Sprouts I've ever had, I'm not lying. Not hyping them up because of my blog. They are LEGIT. THE. BEST. We've made them dozens of times! They are crispy, sweet, a little spicy, and the perfect amount of salt.

Gochujang is a Korean Red Chili Paste that has a similar flavor profile to Miso, but sweeter and strong flavors of chili. It is available now in most super markets in the International section but also available on amazon . It is not very spicy (in my opinion) but has SO much flavor. If you can't find this product for some reason, you could swap it with Sriracha, but that will be much spicier.


Honestly though, these are so fast to make. I have also roasted them off in the oven and they still come out great. For the oven, cook them at 400° for about 25 minutes.

I got my first Air Fryer about a year ago and it was an instant love affair. Air Frying makes my life so much easier. Meals cook quicker, I'm not heating up the whole oven to cook one thing, and clean up is easy! My basket can go right in the dishwasher! There are so many options available now. I've seen many ranging from $30-$200.

Air Fryer Maple Gochujang Brussels Sprouts

Crispy, sweet, and salty. These Air Fryer Maple Gochujang Brussels are literally PERFECTION

ingredients:

  • 3 C halved Brussels Sprouts (or quartered if very large)
  • 2 TB Maple Syrup
  • 1 TB Gochujang Sauce
  • 1 tsp oil (I use avocado or olive )
  • 1 clove Garlic, chopped (or 1 tsp Garlic Paste)
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt (does not measure the same as table salt)
  • Black Pepper to taste

instructions:

How to cook Air Fryer Maple Gochujang Brussels Sprouts

  1. Preheat Air Fryer for 5 minutes at 375°
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl
  3. Cook in Preheated Air Fryer for 15 minutes, shake or move around with spatula
  4. Increase temperature to 400° and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes
